Riley Moss rib injury not considered serious by Broncos

Denver Broncos cornerback Riley Moss sustained a rib injury during a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. The injury occurred after Moss was tackled by multiple players while attempting to recover a fumble.

Head coach Sean Payton stated that the injury is “nothing serious” and that the team is “being smart” with his recovery. Moss was seen in noticeable pain and required medical evaluation in a sideline tent before being escorted to the locker room. While he was not expected to participate in recent practices, the team does not anticipate he will miss significant time.

Additionally, backup offensive tackle Frank Crum also sustained an injury during the game and was expected to miss practice as well.
