Rimington Trophy Watch List Adds Delaware's Steven Demboski and Texas Tech's Sheridan Wilson

Steven Demboski, a fifth‑year center for the University of Delaware, was named to the 2026 Rimington Trophy preseason watch list, becoming the first player in program history to earn the honor. He also appears on the Outland Trophy watch list and several conference preseason teams after a season in which he allowed no sacks.

Sheridan Wilson, senior center at Texas Tech, was also placed on the 2026 Rimington Trophy watch list for the second straight year. Pro Football Focus reported that Wilson did not allow a sack for a second consecutive season and surrendered only four pressures in over 500 pass‑blocking snaps, earning the highest pass‑blocking grade among FBS centers with at least 500 snaps.

The Rimington Trophy, presented by the Boomer Esiason Foundation, recognizes the nation’s most outstanding interior lineman in NCAA Division I football and has raised more than $5 million for the foundation since its inception.
