Rimini faces rising inflation and high rental costs

In the Rimini region, housing costs are placing significant pressure on residents. An analysis by Quadrivo.it shows that renting an 80-square-meter apartment in Riccione averages 904 euros per month, consuming 54% of the average salary—the highest rate in the province. Other areas like Bellaria and Cattolica see similar burdens of 49% and 47%, respectively.

Additionally, Rimini has experienced a rise in inflation, reaching 4.6% in September, which exceeds the national average. This increase is driven primarily by rising costs in fuel, electricity, gas, and transportation. Federconsumatori has noted that while inflation rises, wages and pensions remain stagnant, leading to calls for tax reductions on essential goods and energy support.
