Rimini hosts interforce security and counter-terrorism exercise

An interforce training exercise is taking place in Rimini at the 7th AVES Vega Regiment barracks of the Italian Army. The drill focuses on territorial security, public order, and responding to various threats, including terrorist attacks and violent individuals.

The exercise involves multiple agencies, including the Italian Army, State Police, Prison Police, Coast Guard, Finance Guard, and local police forces. Participants will practice rapid and static intervention techniques, testing current procedures alongside innovative solutions to address evolving operational needs.

A primary objective of the training is to enhance coordination between different administrative bodies. By establishing shared techniques and procedures, authorities aim to increase the effectiveness of field interventions while reducing risks to both operators and the public.
