Rimini hosts lecture on 60th anniversary of Vatican II’s Gaudium et Spes

On July 27, a public lecture will be held in Viserba, Rimini, to mark the 60th anniversary of the Vatican II document Gaudium et Spes. The event, part of the I Lunedì di Viserba series, features Paolo Foglizzo, editor of the Jesuit monthly Aggiornamenti Sociali, who will discuss the document’s continuing relevance for contemporary issues such as human dignity, peace, justice, and social development. Organized by the local cultural program, the talk aims to offer new perspectives on the Church’s relationship with modern society and to encourage dialogue on building a more equitable and solidaristic world.
