Italian para-dressage riders win double bronze at Aachen World Championships
Italian para-dressage athletes achieved a historic double bronze at the FEI World Championships in Aachen. Francesca Salvadè secured third place in Grade III riding Escari with a score of 74.676%, marking her first world championship medal. Sara Morganti earned bronze in Grade I riding Bond Girl 18 with a score of 74.459%, marking the twentieth medal of her career.
In Ravenna, the arrival of football icon Ronaldinho for his official presentation with Ravenna Football Club has prompted significant local measures. Authorities have implemented a temporary ban on swimming near the Zaccagnini breakwater and introduced glass container restrictions to ensure safety during the events scheduled for August 20–22. Traffic modifications and parking bans are also in effect to manage the expected crowds.
Additionally, the University of Calabria is set to host the 39th ANCIU National Tennis Championship for university employees from August 26 to 30, featuring an exhibition of blind tennis to promote inclusion.
