Rimini man arrested for years of domestic violence

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in the Rimini area after a history of domestic violence against his wife and children. The most recent incident occurred on August 5 at a hotel in Viserbella, where the man, who was reportedly intoxicated, confronted his wife regarding her wages.

The man's 22-year-old son intervened to protect his mother, resulting in the son being punched in the face. The son managed to immobilize his father on the ground until the Carabinieri arrived. Investigations revealed a pattern of abuse dating back to March 2020, including previous physical assaults involving belts and bottles.

The suspect faces charges of aggravated domestic abuse, personal injury, and threats against his family members.
