Rimini province hosts weekend events including Emilia Street Parade

The Rimini province will host various cultural and sporting events from September 18 to 20. A major highlight is the second edition of the Emilia Street Parade in Santarcangelo di Romagna on Saturday, September 19. The event includes a bicycle ride from the station to Santa Giustina, followed by a parade along the new Via Emilia cycle path.

Due to the parade, Via Emilia will be closed to traffic and parking between via Montevecchi and viale Mazzini for 24 hours, from 8:00 AM Saturday until 8:00 AM Sunday. Traffic diversions will affect commuters traveling between Savignano, Bellaria, and Rimini. Heavy vehicles over 3.5 tons are also restricted in the area.

Other regional activities include the 'Tavulonga' celebration in Villa Verucchio on September 20, the Sagra della polenta e dei frutti del sottobosco in Perticara, and the Riccione Sunset Run, a 10 km competitive race and 5 km walk in Riccione on September 19.
