Rimini road maintenance: Asphalt costs rise amid urban resurfacing

Road maintenance and resurfacing works have concluded on Viale Europa in the Osservanza area. Following these repairs, officials will proceed with defining horizontal road markings.

Public Works Assessor Christian Castorri noted that the total cost for asphalt works in the station area is approximately 260,000 euros plus VAT. Castorri highlighted significant cost increases for deep reclamation projects, stating that the price for a 4-centimeter asphalt layer has risen from 9 euros per square meter in 2020 to 25 euros in 2026. The total cost for a complete road section currently reaches 75 euros per square meter, compared to 26 euros in 2020.

Additional works are underway on Via Felice Cavallotti by Hera to repair pipelines. Once these are finished, municipal asphalt interventions will continue on Via Felice Cavallotti, having already started from Via Manfredi. The company Pesaresi Giuseppe Spa is scheduled to carry out further resurfacing in several urban center streets, including Via Carducci and portions of Via Subborgo Eugenio Valzania, until September 14.
