Rimini technicians use tree climbing to prune monumental plane tree
Specialized arborists from Anthea have performed maintenance on the historic plane tree located in Piazza Malatesta, Rimini. The operation primarily utilized tree climbing techniques, allowing workers to operate directly within the canopy using ropes and harnesses to ensure the plant's structure is respected.
To address specific logistical needs, technicians also employed an elevating work platform (PLE) to safely reach delicate outer branches that were interfering with nearby buildings. This combined approach aims to provide precise, selective pruning while minimizing noise and urban disruption.
