Rimini wine and food routes promoted by Emilia-Romagna agriculture minister
Alessio Mammi, the regional Minister for Agriculture, visited Coriano to meet with representatives of the ‘Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori dei Colli di Rimini’. This initiative aims to connect wineries, farms, and restaurants to promote the enogastronomic, cultural, and landscape heritage of the Rimini province.
The project integrates agriculture, gastronomy, and tourism through year-round activities such as tastings, fairs, and masterclasses. It highlights the region's diverse products, including wine, extra virgin olive oil, piadina, and local cheeses, showcasing the hilly areas of the province alongside its coastal identity.
As part of the regional government’s ‘Incontro ai territori’ initiative, which will visit all provinces in Emilia-Romagna, the region has allocated over 26 million euros to support the viticultural sector for 2026-2027. This funding is intended to assist more than 14,000 businesses within the regional wine supply chain.
