RINA and PTT sign MoUs for energy and maritime innovation

RINA, a multinational engineering, inspection, and certification group, has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with PTT Public Company Limited, Thailand’s national energy company. The collaboration will be conducted through the PTT Innovation Institute (PTT InI).

The partnership aims to drive research, knowledge exchange, and technological development across the energy, maritime, and industrial sectors. Key areas of focus include alternative and low-carbon fuels, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), vessel electrification, digitalization, and carbon management solutions.

Additionally, the companies intend to explore hydrogen readiness, cold energy utilization for data centers, and Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). The cooperation may also extend to professional training and skill development initiatives to support the global energy transition.
