Rina Ikoma releases final photo book after ten-year hiatus

Actress and former Nogizaka46 member Rina Ikoma held an event in Tokyo to celebrate the release of her new photo book, ‘Lurikakesu’. This marks her first photo book in ten years and her final one, as she stated she intends for this to be her last.

The book was shot on Amami Oshima, a location Ikoma chose personally. The title refers to the ‘Lurikakesu’, a species of bird endemic to the island. Ikoma noted that the book serves as a gift to her long-time supporters and a commemorative item for new fans who discovered her through stage performances.

During the event, Ikoma revealed that she was initially reluctant to release a photo book, even mentioning past disagreements regarding her first photo book. She encouraged fans to read the accompanying essay to understand the truth behind her feelings. Celebrating 15 years in the entertainment industry, she expressed her desire to spend her 30s focusing on projects she enjoys and meeting people she wishes to see.
