Rincón de la Vieja National Park flash flood leaves one woman missing

A flash flood at the Oropendula waterfall in Rincón de la Vieja National Park has left one woman missing. The Costa Rican Red Cross reported that six people were initially swept away by the sudden surge of water on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency teams have successfully rescued five individuals, who are now in a safe zone. Search operations are currently concentrated on locating the missing adult woman. Rescue workers remain on-site to continue the search and provide assistance to those affected.
