Ring introduces “Die drei ???” voice replies for doorbells

Ring is introducing new “Quick Replies” for its video doorbells in Germany, featuring the original voices from the popular detective series “Die drei ???”. Starting October 1, users can select pre-recorded messages from characters Justus Jonas, Peter Shaw, and Bob Andrews to greet guests, indicate absence, or provide instructions for package deliveries.

The feature includes themed responses such as the detectives being busy with a case or the headquarters being unoccupied. To coincide with Halloween, special seasonal replies featuring eerie sounds and spooky messages will also be available. These specific voice options are offered free of charge from October 1 through December 31, 2027.

The collaboration extends beyond the doorbell technology to include various themed events in Germany, such as an escape game in Cologne and a Halloween event at the Cologne Zoo.
