Herning man charged after theft and threats at Circle K station

A 55‑year‑old man appeared before a constitutional hearing at the Herning District Court after a series of incidents on Thursday. Police say he stole two beers from a shop in Herning, then proceeded to a Circle K fuel station where he pushed an employee and threw an object at the staff member. When police arrived, the man directed vulgar insults and threats at a female officer, calling her “luder” and “møgkælling” and saying, “du graver din egen grav,” among other threats. He has been charged with theft, threats and insulting a public official. The court will decide whether he should be remanded in custody while the investigation continues.
