Rinku Premium Outlets begins AI security and human flow data trials
Asilla has launched a demonstration experiment at Rinku Premium Outlets in Izumisano, Osaka, utilizing its AI security system, ‘AI Security asilla’, and its human flow data platform, ‘asilla BIZ’. The project is being conducted at the facility operated by Mitsubishi Estate Simon.
The ‘AI Security asilla’ system uses artificial intelligence to analyze existing security camera footage 24/7 to detect abnormal behaviors such as violence, falls, or trespassing, as well as cautionary behaviors like wandering, crowding, or physical distress. This aims to enhance safety and optimize security operations by allowing AI to detect individuals in need of assistance and notify security personnel promptly.
Simultaneously, the ‘asilla BIZ’ platform will visualize human flow data, including congestion levels and visitor demographics by gender and age. By identifying peak times and crowded areas, the facility plans to improve visitor comfort through better signage placement, optimized traffic flow, and improved facility layouts.
