Rino Gaetano Band to perform tribute at Benevento's Teatro Romano

The Rino Gaetano Band is scheduled to perform at the Teatro Romano in Benevento on September 4 at 20:30. Organized by the Accademia delle Opere APS, the event serves as a musical tribute to the late Italian singer-songwriter Rino Gaetano.

The band is led by Alessandro Gaetano, the nephew of the original artist, who continues the musical legacy established by his aunt, Anna, when she founded the group in 1999. The performance aims to preserve the memory of Gaetano, known for his innovative and unconventional approach to social and cultural commentary through music.

Attendees can expect to hear classic hits such as ‘Ma il cielo è sempre più blu’, ‘Gianna’, ‘Aida’, and ‘Nuntereggae più’, along with lesser-known tracks and posthumous releases. The ensemble includes Alessandro Gaetano on vocals and guitar, alongside Ivan Amadore, Fabio Fraschini, Michele Amadori, Alberto Lombardi, and Marco Rovanelli.
