Rino Gaetano Honored in Live Concert “Il cielo è sempre più blu” Broadcast from Cosenza

On 5 August at 21:20, Rai 2 and Rai Radio 2 will air a live concert titled “Radio2 Live – Il cielo è sempre più blu” to mark the 45th anniversary of Rino Gaetano’s death. The event is staged in Piazza XV Marzo in Cosenza, Calabria, under a partnership between Regione Calabria, the Calabria Film Commission and Rai Com.

Hosted by Ema Stokholma with Gino Castaldo, the show features a roster of Italian artists—including Noemi, Sarah Toscano, Michele Bravi, Le Vibrazioni, Gabry Ponte, Fabrizio Moro, Aiello, and others—performing Gaetano’s songs live with the Radio2 Social Band. The production includes a blue‑themed set design referencing the concert’s subtitle and the iconic song “Il cielo è sempre più blu.”
