Rio Ave and Estrela da Amadora draw 3-3 in Liga Portugal

Rio Ave and Estrela da Amadora played to a 3-3 draw during the sixth round of the Liga Portugal at the Estádio dos Arcos in Vila do Conde. Despite Estrela da Amadora showing offensive superiority throughout much of the match, Rio Ave managed to recover from being behind three separate times to secure a point.

Estrela da Amadora took an early lead in the 21st minute through Ianis Stoica. Petrasso later equalized for the visitors just before halftime. However, Rio Ave mounted a comeback, aided by Roland Galcík, who scored shortly after entering the game, and a brace from Abraham Marcus, who scored in the 53rd and 61st minutes. Rio Ave played the latter part of the match with ten men after Nelson Abbey left the field due to injury.
