Rio Branco authorities seek family of man found dead near Acre River

The Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Rio Branco is seeking the relatives of Enio Brasil dos Santos, whose body was discovered on September 8 along the banks of the Acre River on Epaminondas Jácome Avenue.

As of September 10, no family members have come forward to identify the deceased. To assist in the identification process, authorities noted that several items were found with the body, including a brown waist bag, sunglasses, a bag of cloves, and an elderly person's transit card.

Family members or individuals with information are urged to contact the IML Family Support Center. If no identification is made by the September 21 deadline, the body may be buried as unidentified, in accordance with legal procedures.
