Rio Branco Chamber to Publish Public Contest Notice Within 30 Days, Says President Joabe Lira

Joabe Lira, president of the Câmara Municipal de Rio Branco, announced that the edital for the municipality's first public contest will be released within the next 30 days. He said the competition planning is in its final stage, with the commission having completed most technical and administrative steps and now evaluating the organization bank that will run the selection process. The contest will offer roughly 40 positions across various administrative areas of the chamber, including a reserve register.

Lira framed the hiring drive as a key milestone of his administration’s modernization agenda, citing the recent approval of a new career and remuneration plan and the broader restructuring of the chamber’s staff. He emphasized the aim of a transparent, merit‑based recruitment that strengthens the legislative body and improves service to citizens.
