Rio Branco City Council to launch public service exam

The Rio Branco City Council is finalizing preparations to publish a public service exam notice in the coming weeks. The recruitment process, organized by IDIB, is the first of its kind for the legislative body in over a decade, driven by upcoming retirements and the relocation of the council's headquarters.

The competition will offer 45 total vacancies: 15 for immediate hiring to address urgent needs and 30 for a reserve list. Positions include roles in Accounting, Human Resources, Legislative Police, Legal Counsel, General Analyst, Translator and Sign Language Interpreter (Libras), and Writing and Revision.

To ensure transparency and legality, Council members have formally requested that the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/AC) monitor the development of the exam. The OAB has expressed its commitment to appointing a qualified representative to oversee the process. Additionally, oversight bodies such as the Public Ministry have been invited to participate in the proceedings.
