Rio Branco hospital treats motorcycle accident victim

Luana Ferreira Castelo, a 21-year-old woman, is currently in intensive care at the Rio Branco Emergency Care Unit following a motorcycle collision on the BR-364 highway in Acre. The accident occurred near the Federal University of Acre (Ufac).

Following a blood donation campaign organized by her family, Castelo has received 45 units of blood. While her medical status remains serious, her family reports she is responding to medication, undergoing hemodialysis, and showing signs of recovery. Medical reports indicate she is currently being treated for a lung infection, though her blood pressure has stabilized and she has not developed a fever.
