Rio Claro acquires new vehicles for school patrol
The municipality of Rio Claro has acquired two new Renault vehicles for its Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) to reinforce school patrol services. The investment totals R$ 420,000, funded through a R$ 297,000 parliamentary amendment from federal deputy Kim Kataguiri and a R$ 126,000 contribution from the local government.
According to GCM Commander Rodrigo Servidone, these vehicles are reserved exclusively for the School Patrol Group, which performs preventive patrolling and responds to incidents at all schools within the municipality. Local authorities stated the expansion aims to increase security and provide greater peace of mind for the population.
