International Animation Day Rio das Ostras Cepro animation films Cine Cepro

The Cepro Popular Education Cultural Center in Rio das Ostras held a free animation showcase to celebrate International Animation Day 2026. The event featured children's sessions and a selection of national and international short films.

International productions included ‘Loop’, a co-production from Argentina and Spain; ‘Pitango’, an Argentine stop-motion film; ‘Carmela’, a Spanish animation set after the Spanish Civil War; and ‘Eating Time’, a production from Estonia. The initiative, organized by the Cine Cepro project, aims to expand cultural access and demonstrate that animation serves diverse audiences beyond children.
