Rio das Ostras hosts VI Festival de Covers

The VI Festival de Covers will take place from November 6 to 8 at Lagoa do Iriri in Rio das Ostras. The free event features musical tributes to various national and international artists, including Amy Winehouse, Aerosmith, Cazuza, Pitty, Pearl Jam, Arctic Monkeys, Charlie Brown Jr., and O Rappa.

In addition to the musical performances, the festival serves as a social initiative, collecting non-perishable food donations for vulnerable populations. The event also aims to provide visibility to local musicians and strengthen the regional music scene.

Historically, the festival has become a significant economic driver for the municipality. Previous editions have attracted over 300,000 attendees and more than 70 bands, generating upwards of R$ 4 million for the local economy, including the commerce and hotel sectors.
