The municipality of Rio das Ostras has opened a selection process for the temporary hiring of Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) translators and interpreters. The initiative, managed by the Secretariat of Development and Social Assistance, offers two immediate vacancies with a salary of R$ 2,236.85 for a 20-hour weekly workload.

The selection also aims to establish a reserve list for future calls. Candidates must have a background in Teaching, Normal Superior, or Pedagogy, along with specific Libras certification. Applications are to be made in person at the Secretariat of Development and Social Assistance on August 11.
