The Rio de Janeiro State Government has announced several major recruitment initiatives across the health and education sectors.
A public examination (concurso público) has been authorized for the State Health Secretariat (SES-RJ) and the Institute of Assistance to State Servants (Iaserj). The selection offers 287 permanent vacancies for various roles, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, and administrative assistants. Salaries range from R$ 1,900 to R$ 7,100. Applications open on August 17 and run until September 15, with exams scheduled for November 1. The process is organized by IBDO Projetos.
In the education sector, the government has authorized FAETEC to hire up to 1,536 temporary professionals, including teachers, educational advisors, and supervisors, to expand professional and technological education. These hires will be made gradually based on demand and resource availability.
Additionally, the municipality of Bom Jesus do Itabapoana has rescheduled its electronic bidding process for selecting an organizing body for a civil service exam. This exam aims to fill 260 immediate vacancies for nursing and clinical analysis technicians.
