Rio de Janeiro guards arrest man for selling electronic cigarettes

During a special security operation for Rock in Rio, municipal guards in Rio de Janeiro arrested a man for selling electronic cigarettes near the Olympic Park in Barra da Tijuca. The suspect was charged with smuggling, as the sale of such products is prohibited in Brazil.

In addition to the arrest, the municipal guard operation has issued 440 traffic fines in the festival's vicinity. The ongoing security and traffic management operation, which includes over 4,700 personnel, is scheduled to continue until September 18.
