Rio de Janeiro Health Department offers 499 scholarships

The Rio de Janeiro State Health Department (SES-RJ) has opened 499 full scholarships for workers within the state health network. These educational opportunities cover various levels, including free courses, technical training, undergraduate degrees, and lato sensu postgraduate studies, provided through 15 partner educational institutions.

Eligible participants include active workers from 12 state units, such as the Alberto Torres State Hospital (HEAT), Azevedo Lima State Hospital (HEAL), Carlos Chagas State Hospital (HECC), Getúlio Vargas State Hospital (HEGV), and Hemorio. The program is open to permanent staff, commissioned officials, public employees, and temporary contractors from Fundação Saúde.

Applications will be accepted from October 19 to October 30 via specific forms depending on the course level. Selection will be conducted through a public draw scheduled for November 16 at the SES-RJ Public Health School. Results are expected to be released starting November 23.
