Rio de Janeiro hosts multiple rock festivals in July 2026

The Festival Dia do Rock na Ceará will take place on Rio's Rua Ceará on 12 July, featuring more than 100 bands across ten stages from noon to midnight. Brazilian thrash metal group Savant is slated to perform and is finalising a new studio album expected in early 2026.

From 23 to 26 July, the Maricá Moto Fest 2026 will run along the Praia de Itaipuaçu waterfront. The free‑entry event combines a motorcycle rally with rock concerts, highlighting the band Blitz as the headline act on Sunday. Organisers anticipate thousands of visitors, noting the festival’s boost to local tourism and commerce.
