Rio de Janeiro hosts musical tributes and women's health awareness events

The Teatro Riachuelo Rio will host “Uma Saudação às Divas” on October 21, a production celebrating the 10th anniversary of the project. The show features performers Claudia Nascimento, Jessy, and Rafael Oliveira, who interpret hits from international music icons including Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Tina Turner, Beyoncé, Adele, and Céline Dion. The production includes a live band, dancers, and over 50 costume changes featuring replicas produced in New York.

In Rio de Janeiro, singer Brunna Oliveira is hosting the “Zayya Outubro Rosa” project on October 18 and 25 at Zayya in Recreio dos Bandeirantes. The initiative uses pagode music to promote breast cancer awareness during the Pink October campaign. The events aim to highlight women's health and increase female representation within the pagode genre. Admission is free, though a cover charge applies.
