Rio de Janeiro job market adds 105 openings as DPSP and Grupo OAF recruit staff
Dona das Drogarias Pacheco e São Paulo (DPSP) announced 75 open pharmacist positions in Rio de Janeiro, offering benefits such as health plans, meal and transport vouchers, life insurance, profit‑sharing, basic food basket, TotalPass, mental‑health support and a career plan. DPSP will hold an employability event on 30 July at Unyleya Faculty to present the retail pharmacy sector and allow on‑site applications.
Grupo OAF is creating about 30 jobs across five municipalities in the Rio de Janeiro metropolitan and coastal regions – Itaboraí, Maricá, Tanguá, Araruama and Saquarema. Most vacancies are for external sales staff (23 positions) with salaries starting at R$ 1,741 and benefits including a basic food basket, transport allowance and an OAF assistance plan. Additional roles include a control analyst, HR assistant, marketing assistant, commercial manager, help‑desk assistant and an attendant. The hiring drive follows Brazil’s declining unemployment rate, which fell to 5.6% in May, and a record 42,675 formal jobs generated in Rio de Janeiro during the first five months of the year, led by the services sector.
