Rio de Janeiro launches 8,000 free women's training slots and hosts pink-run

The Rio de Janeiro City Secretariat for Women opened more than 8,000 new free qualification course slots, expanding a program that has already trained over 550,000 women since 2021. The courses cover a range of fields, including administrative assistance, IT, languages, digital marketing, health services and entrepreneurship, and are offered at the city’s Casa da Mulher facilities.

Separately, over 800 women gathered at Parque Realengo for the “Corre com Elas” pink-run, part of the Ultra Academia “No Smile, No Gain” initiative. The event emphasized fun, inclusivity and community, encouraging participants of all ages and fitness levels to run together in pink attire.
