Rio de Janeiro to host Claude Impact Lab AI hackathon

Rio de Janeiro will host the second Brazilian edition of the Claude Impact Lab, a hackathon sponsored by Anthropic. The event aims to develop artificial intelligence solutions for real-world urban challenges.

Supported by the Rio de Janeiro City Hall through the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development, the hackathon will focus on a specific challenge presented by the Municipal Secretariat of Education. Participants will use real municipal data to create practical applications for the city's educational sector.

The initiative, promoted by João Lisboa of Taicor, encourages multidisciplinary teams comprising professionals from technology, design, business, communication, and education. The winning project will be donated to the city to provide immediate impact for Rio de Janeiro.
