Rio de Janeiro to host Corrida do Chaves running event

Rio de Janeiro will host the Corrida do Chaves on December 6 at the Parque Olímpico in Barra Olímpica. The event features a main 5 km race for adults and various distance categories for children aged 2 to 13.

Registration is available until November 20, 2026, or until slots are filled. Participation kits include items such as a themed t-shirt, ecobag, race number, timing chip, and a medal. Trophies will be awarded to the top five general finishers in male and female categories, as well as winners in age groups ranging from 18 to over 70 years old.
