Rio de Janeiro to host inaugural Women’s International Football Summit

The first edition of the Women’s International Football Summit (WIFS) will take place on September 14 and 15 at the Museu do Amanhã in Rio de Janeiro. Organized by Confut, the B2B event focuses on the development and professionalization of the Brazilian women's football industry.

The summit will bring together clubs, federations, athletes, sponsors, agencies, and sports management professionals to discuss industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. The initiative is supported by the State Government of Rio de Janeiro through the Secretariat of Sport and Leisure. This event aligns with the preparations for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, for which Rio de Janeiro has been named one of the eight host cities.
