Rio Gastronomia returns to Jockey Club Brasileiro in September

The Rio Gastronomia festival is returning to the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Gávea from September 17 to October 4. As one of Brazil’s largest culinary events, the 16th edition will feature 36 restaurants and bars, including newcomers such as Epicerie Kadeau, Ferro e Farinha, Casa Magnólia, Gonza Restaurante, Kata Sushi, and Koral.

The festival includes a variety of attractions such as a Ferris wheel, immersive brand areas, a producer market, live music, cooking classes, and talks with prominent chefs. This edition also emphasizes increased accessibility through measures like Libras interpreters, audio descriptions, and specialized facilities.

Following a record-breaking attendance in 2025, the festival has extended its duration to nearly three weeks for the upcoming cycle. Tickets went on sale in August, with various pricing tiers available through Ticketmaster.
