Rio Grande do Sul fairs boost tourism and construction business

The 49th Expointer agricultural fair will run from 29 August to 6 September 2026 in Esteio, Rio Grande do Sul. Organized at the Parque Estadual de Exposições Assis Brasil, the event will host livestock displays, regional products, cultural shows and technology demonstrations, aiming to turn Esteio into a key rural‑tourism destination and stimulate local hotels, restaurants and transport services.

From 4 to 7 August 2026, the Construsul International Construction Fair will take place at the Fiergs Centre in Porto Alegre. The four‑day exhibition expects about 35 000 visitors and more than 300 exhibitors, with organisers projecting roughly R$ 900 million in business transactions. A seminar on the opening day will address topics such as artificial intelligence and 3D printing in construction, highlighting growth opportunities in housing, infrastructure, retro‑fit, sanitation and energy efficiency.
