Brazil announces various public job openings and educational programs

Various Brazilian institutions and municipalities have announced new employment and educational opportunities.

The State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) is offering 63 nursing residency positions across nine specialties, including intensive care and pediatrics, with monthly stipends of R$ 4,106.09. In Minas Gerais, the Contagem City Hall has opened a selection process for 284 vacancies in administrative, fiscal, engineering, and health sectors, with salaries reaching up to R$ 13,305.57.

In Mato Grosso do Sul, the Cassilândia City Hall is recruiting for temporary roles in social assistance, including psychologists and social workers. Additionally, the Sine of Congonhas is offering 195 jobs in mining, commerce, and maintenance, with some salaries reaching R$ 5,000.

For senior citizens, the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (Uern) is providing 405 free extension course spots in five cities, including Natal and Mossoró, focusing on citizenship and quality of life.
