Rio Grande do Sul municipalities launch temporary hiring for education staff

The municipality of Floriano Peixoto in northern Rio Grande do Sul announced a simplified selection process for one temporary auxiliary‑discipline position at the local elementary school. The contract is for 12 months, renewable for an equal period, with a 40‑hour work week and a salary of R$ 2,579.73.

Novo Cabrais, also in Rio Grande do Sul, opened a broader temporary recruitment for a reserve register of teachers in several subjects and a speech‑therapist. Salaries range from R$ 2,664.58 to R$ 3,636.17, with weekly hours between 20 and 21 hours 20 minutes. Successful candidates will be called as needed during the validity of the process and will receive benefits such as food and transport allowances, proportional vacation, and a year‑end bonus.
