Rio-Niterói Bridge bus robbery under investigation

Two men robbed passengers on a bus traveling across the Rio-Niterói Bridge on Friday night. The vehicle, a Viação Coesa bus on the 4110D line, was heading from Rio de Janeiro toward São Gonçalo when the suspects announced the robbery.

The criminals, described as slim men between 20 and 30 years old, reportedly carried firearms. They stole various personal items, including mobile phones and gold rings, before fleeing the bus in central Niterói. The Civil Police are investigating the incident through the 73rd DP (Neves).
