Rio Pratinha: Body of missing man recovered in Goiás

Firefighters located the body of Márcio Ferreira, a man approximately 40 years old from Chapadão do Sul, submerged in the Rio Pratinha in Chapadão do Céu, Goiás.

Searches began on the night of Sunday, November 16, after a couple reported that a man had disappeared while diving in the area. Initial investigations by the military firefighters and the Civil Police confirmed the disappearance and the possibility of drowning. The body was found submerged at a depth of 4 meters on Tuesday morning.
