Rio Preto expects R$ 21.7 million boost from Maroon 5 and Luan Santana concerts
Upcoming concerts by Maroon 5 and Luan Santana are projected to inject R$ 21.7 million into the economy of Rio Preto, according to estimates from the Economic Studies Center of the Association of Commercial and Businessmen of Rio Preto (Acirp).
The Maroon 5 performance is expected to generate R$ 12.5 million, with R$ 6 million directed toward restaurants, R$ 5.8 million toward transportation, and approximately R$ 766,000 toward the hotel sector. Luan Santana’s concert is projected to contribute R$ 9.2 million, including R$ 5 million for restaurants and R$ 3.7 million for transportation.
Acirp President Jean Daher noted that these large-scale events stimulate a diverse supply chain involving various local services. The economic projections were calculated by economist Adnan Jebailey using public data from the Federal Revenue and the State of São Paulo Finance Secretariat.
