Rio stadiums unveil parking reservation service and new food hub

Estapar will take over the parking operation at Rio de Janeiro’s Nilton Santos stadium from mid‑July 2026. The company plans fully automated barriers with OCR licence‑plate reading and a reservation feature called “Estapar Reserva” available through the Zul+ app, allowing fans and visitors to secure spots in advance and offering discounts to Botafogo season‑ticket holders.

Separately, the Maracanã stadium is developing a year‑round gastronomic complex dubbed “Maracanã 360.” The R$20 million project will convert the fifth floor into a 4,000‑square‑metre food hub with two restaurants, a sports bar for about 700 guests, a meat house, and daily entertainment. Construction is slated for completion by the end of 2026, with sustainability measures and integration into match‑day ticketing.
