Riohacha residents organize cleaning campaign for Parque Nicolás de Federmann

Residents and local entities in Riohacha have organized a community cleaning initiative for the Parque Nicolás de Federmann. The project was prompted by concerns regarding unpleasant odors in the park, which serves as a significant social and commercial hub for locals and tourists due to its proximity to bars, nightclubs, and food vendors.

The mobilization involves various community members and organizations. Support has been coordinated through the Iglesia de la Divina Pastora, with assistance from companies such as Interaseo, Aqualia, and Air-e. Local contributors including Edelmes Brito and Omaira Quintana are providing hydration and meals for participants, while local business owners have been invited to join the civic activity to restore the historic community space.
