Rioja Oriental offers distinct enotourism landscapes

Rioja Oriental is emerging as a significant destination for enotourism, offering a distinct landscape compared to other regions within the DOCa Rioja denomination. Located in the easternmost part of La Rioja, this area is characterized by a more Mediterranean climate, fertile soils, and a landscape shaped by the Ebro River and valleys such as the Cidacos, Alhama, and Jubera.

The region is defined by a central axis between Alfaro, Aldeanueva de Ebro, and Arnedo. This area features continuous stretches of vineyards, traditional winery neighborhoods, and historical orchards, providing a quieter alternative to more crowded wine regions.
