Riot Fest returns to Chicago’s Douglass Park

Riot Fest is taking place at Chicago’s Douglass Park, featuring a diverse lineup of headliners including Tool, Nas, Twenty One Pilots, and Alanis Morissette. The festival includes a variety of musical acts ranging from punk and hip-hop to blues and disco.

One of the featured performers is the pop-punk/alternative-core band Aim High. The five-man group, signed to Saucewithspoons Records, recently released the EP ‘Free Caskets’, a project inspired by the loss of their guitarist, Coleman Sonefeld.

In addition to the main musical performances, the ‘Beyond The Fest’ programming offers community-focused activities. This includes interactive vendor booths, youth boxing showcases by Boxing Out Negativity, double Dutch lessons from the 40+ Double Dutch Club, and local music showcases such as lo-fi rap cyphers.
