Ripafratta hosts 14th Festa della Rocca festival

The 14th edition of the ‘Festa della Rocca e del suo territorio’ will take place in Ripafratta from September 4 to 6. Organized by the Pro Loco ‘Salviamo La Rocca’ with the support of the Municipality of San Giuliano Terme, the event aims to promote the history, landscape, and traditions of the historic border territory between Pisa and Lucca.

The program includes guided tours of the Rocca and the village, excursions, canoeing and kayaking on the Serchio river, cycling, and historical archery. Other activities feature yoga in the woods, music, and gastronomic events. The organizers noted that the festival helps change perceptions of the territory and serves as a platform to advocate for necessary institutional investments to improve local quality of life.
